Turn up Depth and Smooth starts listening: when one frequency rings louder than its neighbours, it is turned down for exactly as long as it rings. Sharpness sets how narrow the cuts are, Selectivity how picky it is. Draw the sensitivity curve to focus on the harsh area, use Delta to hear only what is removed, and run it on Mid or Side only when you need to.
