1. Grant of license

Nu Motion Records ("NU MOTION") grants you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the samples, loops, one-shots, MIDI files, synth presets (Serum, Diva and others), wavetables and project files contained in any NU MOTION product (the "Sounds") to create your own original music, commercial or non-commercial.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Sounds, edited or unedited, inside your own compositions and release them on any platform: streaming, downloads, vinyl, CD, radio, TV, film, games, advertising, online video, podcasts, live performances and DJ sets. You may sell and monetize the resulting music without paying any additional fees or royalties to NU MOTION.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Sell, resell, share, give away, upload, lease, trade or otherwise distribute the Sounds on their own, in original, isolated, re-packaged or modified form, except as part of a finished musical work
  • Include the Sounds in any other sample pack, preset bank, MIDI pack, template, construction kit, sound library or virtual instrument, free or commercial
  • Upload the raw files to any website, cloud drive, file-sharing service or group
  • Claim authorship of the Sounds themselves

4. Presets, MIDI & project files

Presets, MIDI files and Ableton (or other DAW) projects may be edited and used freely in your productions. The preset, MIDI and project files themselves, original or modified, and presets derived from them, may not be shared or redistributed.

5. Content ID

You may not register the Sounds, or any work consisting mainly of unaltered Sounds, with YouTube Content ID or any similar fingerprinting service. Tracks registered with such services must be your own complete compositions.

6. AI & machine learning

You may not use the Sounds to train, fine-tune, test or develop any artificial intelligence, machine learning or generative audio system, or include them in any dataset for such purposes.

7. Non-transferable

This license is personal to you and may not be transferred, sold, sublicensed or shared. Members of a band, duo or production team working together on the same track may use the Sounds for that shared work.

8. Ownership

All Sounds remain the intellectual property of NU MOTION. This agreement grants a license to use them, not a transfer of ownership or copyright.

9. Credit

Credit is not required, but always appreciated: "Sounds by NU MOTION".

10. Termination & disclaimer

Any breach of these terms ends this license immediately; you must then stop using the Sounds and delete all copies. Music released before the breach, in full compliance with this license, is not affected. The Sounds are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and NU MOTION is not liable for any damages arising from their use.
